Empowering Others

Join us on our journey to provide vital medical supplies to those who need them most. Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of many.
Story
Our Mission
Our mission started over a year ago when we noticed how much material, that still seemed usable, the local medical centers were wasting. With our connections, we collected what these centers would usually throw out, and started to donate items to animal shelters and medical schools. However, we never expected to collect so many different items, and began to realize how impoverished countries could even use these items too. From there on, our project expanded globally to countries in South America and the Caribbean.
Our Initiatives
We collect supplies from Performance Health Surgery Center, Pine Ridge Hospital, and GenesisCare Oncology.
The materials we collect from the medical centers are thrown out because they can be expired, desterilized (which does not mean used), or unwanted by the facility. We do not collect biohazardous materials. Still, due to the complicated nature of the materials, we can only donate to so many places. Currently we support two main causes:
Global Aid
We donated usable supplies to a medical school in Mexico, a missionary in Jamaica, and various hospitals throughout Venezuela. Locally, we gave supplies to Premier Mobile Health Services near Lehigh.
Animal Rescues
To support our furry friends, we donated towels, bowls, bandages, gloves, syringes, and more to the Gulf Coast Humane Society and CROW Animal Hospital.

Stats and Goals
At the beginning of this project, we had a goal to collect and donate 5,000 individual items by the end of March, 2025. We crushed that goal and managed to donate 23,726 individual items.

What?
Our inventory included 507 unique items, including medical towels, drapings, gowns, gloves, antiseptic, instruments, catheters, needles, blades, suture, gauze, and much more. The spreadsheet organized the items into 10 different sections.

Where?
Our project started locally and went global. We donated to six different locations, across four different countries, spanning two whole continents.

How?
Through a successful email campaign sent out to friends and family, we were able to raise $220 to pay for the bins for inventory and shipping.
